James Kenny

James graduated from Victoria University with a Bachelor of Health Science (Osteopathy) and a Masters of Health Science (Osteopathy). Since finishing his studies, he has also completed further studies in Dry Needling and Cupping. James’ easy going and friendly personality allows him to relate to patients of all ages.
James enjoys treating patients with a variety of different conditions, including neck and shoulder pain, headaches, lower back pain and sciatica, work and sports related injuries. He believes in a holistic approach to treatment, providing a range of different techniques including deep tissue massage and spinal joint manipulation.
Of importance to James is finding the source of the patient’s pain and therefore helping alleviate the patients pain and symptoms. James also considers genetic (ie scoliosis) and lifestyle factors (sleeping habits) that may be contributing to the source of pain and dysfunction.
With a strong background in sport (namely golf), and having coached swimming for many years, James has an acute awareness of how the body should move (biomechanics), and what rehabilitation would be appropriate for each patient.
